2008 JEL Iowa State Fair Event

Beware! Tobacco chemicals are everywhere around you! You aren't safe anywhere, not even the State Fair! That's what JEL displayed at the State Fairgrounds during the 2008 Iowa State Fair. Kids in neon-colored shirts representing deadly chemicals found in tobacco gathered in groups outside 3 different Fairgrounds locations enticing the fairgoers to venture into their deadly product. Little did they know someone was watching them very closely. Hazmat-suited individuals, so cleverly named the JEL Hazardous Material Cleanup Crew, came to the rescue, dispersing the large, lethal congregation to save the unsuspecting people. The cleanup crew then made sure fairgoers knew what they were being saved from with signs that read "There are 63 Cancer-Causing Toxins in Big Tobacco's Products" and "If Big Tobacco won't clean it up, we will." And that is what they did. Check out the pics!
